Be Awesome Barbell Club

Barbell Club meets several times a month in our Amherst Garage Gym. Some club sessions are open gym time where athletes work on their own training in a group environment. Other times we meet for structured coach led circuit type training or specific skills training sessions.  Barbell Club is free for Strength Team members. There is a drop-in free of $5. Space is limited so you must register in advance. 

Currently we are training in the Garage Gym )with the doors open) and outdoors. We are asking that anyone not fully vaccinated continue to wear a mask.

Upcoming sessions

Barbell Club: Oly Lift Night    TBA

This session will be an introduction to the Snatch and Jerk. We will break it down into steps based on everyone's level and focus on form, triple extension, mobility, overhead pressing, push press, hang/clean and work through drills that can be added to as you progress.

Barbell Club: Open Gym     TBA

Open gym. Time to come work on your own training and use the Garage Gym equipment. Coach Beth will be available for form checks, questions, and limited coaching.
