Postpartum Strength & Mobility

a class for those 0-4 months postpartum (non-mobile babies welcome)

Service Description

This 6 week class on Mondays from 10-11am starts out with yoga and mobility work targeted for postpartum recovery and flexibility and finishes with a strength circuit using resistance bands, kettlebells, physio-balls, and basic barbell movements. Open to all levels and modifications can be made depending on your particular postpartum stage and situation. Non mobile babies are welcome in class. This is a supportive flexible environment that works to create space for postpartum parents to have time for self care and fitness. Please bring a blanket or mat for your baby to lie on during class (we don't recommend 45-60 minutes of sitting in a car seat or chair for baby). A front baby carrier or sling can also work for many parts of the class. Parents can take breaks as needed to care for and feed your baby. Yoga mats, blocks, straps, and all other equipment is provided for you. There is a changing table available in the rear bathroom of the gym. Limited to 7 people. Next session Jan 22-Feb 26
